Lending period
The lending period is 2 weeks and you can renew your loans if there is no waiting list. Loans from other libraries have varying lending periods. Journals, newspapers, and reference literature is not for loan. Copy machines are available in the library if you need to take copies.
- Dayloan: The library has collections of syllabus literature on day loan. These books must be returned the same day they are borrowed.
Borrowers responsibilities
You are personally responsible for all loans registered in your name. For more information see our lending rules.

Reservation
You can reserve documents which are on loan. The Libray will send you an e-mail when the documents are available.
Interlibrary loan
Books not available in the BI library are available through interlibrary loan. Loan from libraries in Norway and other Nordic countries are free of charge. If you live far from BI's library in Oslo, you may use your local public library for interlibrary loan services.
BI's campuses outside the Oslo area
BI has signed agreements with local libraries near many of BI's campuses. If you live far away from these libraries please contact your local public library.
