BI is currently participating in two international case competitions; NIBS International Case Competition and McCombs International Business Challenge.
What is a case competition?
A team, consisting of four students, is given a real life case study in which a company has a specific problem. The team has a certain amount of time to analyze the situation and prepare a powerpoint presentation to present a recommendation towards a panel of judges, which include high level industry professionals.
Taking part in a case competition is an ideal way to apply the knowledge and skills you have gained during your studies at BI.
Why participate in a case competition?
You obtain presentation skills and practical knowledge that are beneficial when you later enter the professional working world. The case preparations are set in a competitive atmosphere which trains you for the business life.
By participating in a case competition you will meet students from other schools and cultures give you an opportunity to develop an international network.
