Sangeetha Singh, Associate Dean of the BI International Summer Programme
Sangeeta Singh has been educated in India (Bachelor in mathematics and statistics; MBA in marketing research) and the United States of America (MBA in international marketing; PhD in marketing). She is employed as an Associate Professor of Marketing at BI Norwegian Business School, is the Associate Dean for the Bachelor programme in international Marketing and also the Associate Dean for the International Summer Program that has been newly initiated at BI.
Dr. Singh's research interests are broadly in the field of consumer behavior within which she has examined cross-cultural differences in adoption of new products, the role of ethnic identity on product evaluations, consumption of services, word-of-mouth affects and branding. Her research has been published in the International Marketing Review, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and Advances in Consumer Research. She has also contributed to book chapters.
In addition to teaching in the MBA and MSc Programs at BI Norwegian Business School, she has given courses at Canisius College in USA (in the Department of Mathematics), ESSEC in France, Instituto de Empresa in Spain, and Fudan University in China. She has also been a visiting professor at ESCEM in France.

Charles Cooper, Senior Lecturer at BI Norwegian Business School
Charles Cooper is a Senior Lecturer at BI Norwegian Business School. He has been teaching intercultural communication for the last twenty years with specific focus on how Norwegian management can communicate more effectively with their international partners. Born and raised in California, he did his undergraduate studies in International Relations at Occidental College and postgraduate studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Oslo.
Dr. Gillian Warner Søderholm, Lecturer and Research Fellow at BI Norwegian Business School
Dr. Gillian Warner-Søderholm is a senior lecturer and research fellow at BI Norwegian Business School in the Department of Communication, Culture and Languages. Her teaching and research areas are within intercultural communications, presentations and negotiations, business English, English and American literature and study strategies. Dr. Warner-Søderholm has been a faculty member of BI since 1997. Since completing her doctorate research on intercultural and intracultural practices in Norway and the Nordic region in 2010, she has had 15 interviews published in national newspapers and has also had 2 articles published in academic journals.
Dr. Stephan Sonnenburg, Professor in Marketing and Communication, Karlshochschule International University
Dr. Stephan Sonnenburg is professor in marketing and communication and head of the department “Management of Cultural Institutions” at Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe, Germany. He conducts research and consults especially on branding and creativity. Dr. Sonnenburg started his professional career as a strategic planner and has worked for international advertising agencies like BBDO and SelectNY. His recent book is “Swarm Branding” (2009) which deals with the co-creative potential of brands. His research interests are co-creative branding, group creativity and systems theory.

Daniel Skjeldam, Chief Commercial Officer, Norwegian Air
Daniel Skjeldam is Chief Commercial Officer in Norwegian Air, the largest low-fare airline in Scandinavia. He was part of the start-up team of Norwegian in 2002 and has since been Product Manager, Director of Station Services and Director of Network and Revenue before entering his present position in October 2007. Before joining Norwegian, Skjeldam worked as a business consultant and also as an Officer in the Norwegian Army. He holds a degree in Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, Norway.
Rolf Assev, Chief Strategy Officer, Opera Software
Rolf Assev has his education from the Royal Naval Academy and the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, Norway. His work experience varies from 1.5 years in the Norwegian Trade Council in Stockholm, 4 years in the Marketing and Sponsor department of Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee, 4 years as PR Advisor for Geelmuyden.Kiese, focusing mainly on the IT industry, and a short guest performance as managing director for Spaceworld AS, a Norwegian retail electronics chain. Rolf was hired to work for Opera Software in 1999 to build up the Sales and Marketing Department and has held various executive positions in Opera mainly as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer with extensive travel and work throughout the global market that Opera operates in.
