What do former students say about the International Summer Programme?

"Multicultural management is an interesting topic to study, and I chose this course to strengthen my knowledge of international business development. Beyond the academic programme itself, the social experience has been incredible. A strong network, new friends, a rewarding life experience!"

"My motivating reason for choosing this course was because I have a disability and I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and prove to myself that nothing prevents me from achieving what I desire. I chose BI because of its state-of-the-art campus and high reputation, and chose the summer programme because it combined my love for psychology, people, and management quite nicely. The academic environment was quite relaxed – the lectures were not too big, and the lecturers were approachable and enjoyed teaching and interacting with students. Students worked very effectively together, respecting each other and learning from our different experiences and knowledge. I have built relationships that will hopefully last a lifetime. I've also added to my international network of contacts, and learned or had confirmed a lot of things about myself as a person."
Blake Mills, 25 Australia
Flinders University, BA of Behavioural Science (Psychology), and BA of Business (honours)

"The summer course at BI was a part of my Master of Science programme at my home university. I wanted to discover a Scandinavian country, therefore I chose BI’s Summer Programme!"

"I had always wanted to do a summer exchange programme abroad, and chose BI for two main reasons: firstly, I was quite keen on exploring Scandinavia as well as European culture, and BI seemed like a great fit, combining an excellent location with a unique course on Intercultural Management. Secondly, I chose BI because it was partners with my home university, which made it very easy to transfer course credits and for other administrative reasons. The academic environment was a very rewarding and different experience. When we worked on the group projects it was interesting to see how people from different cultures have different values and attitudes. The lectures were based on discussions and student participation which was a great way of learning. I had a great time at BI! I made a lot of good friends while I was in Oslo and I can safely say that I have friends in the most unique and exotic countries in the world. I highly recommend this program to everyone who wants to gain a global perspective and expand their network globally. I would also suggest future students to step out of their comfort zone and make connections with local Norwegians. Norway is a great country and I would love to go back there in the near future!"
