Research program The value creating board

The research program aims to generate research-based knowledge about actual board behaviour in Norwegian companies, with a special focus on small and medium sized enterprises. The research program runs from 2003 to 2007, and is co-financed by the Norwegian Research Council, Innovation Norway, NHO - Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry, Oslo Stock Exchange, the investment management firms Odin and Vital insurance, and the co-operative companies Tine and Gilde.

A main element in the research program are surveys conducted in Norway from 2003-2006. These surveys have been replicated in various other countries.
