The Centre for Corporate Communication provides a connection between the worlds of exploration and application by including both academic and practicing members who together work on developing new knowledge about corporate communication as a professional discipline.
The Centre for Corporate Communication was established in 2007 as a resource for practitioners, scholars and students in Norway wishing to learn more about corporate communication and public relations.
The purpose of the Center for Corporate Communication is to:
-
Develop basic research in corporate communication in Norway
-
Provide a meeting place for communication researchers from Norwegian educational institutions
-
Be a bridge between theory and practice by bringing researchers, students, and practitioners together to share knowledge and ideas
-
Be a resource for lifelong learning for practitioners through studies, seminars, and publications
-
Be a knowledge partner for companies and organizations wishing to conduct applied research in the field
-
Support efforts for greater professionalism in the practice of corporate communication and related fields such as public relations
