The objectives of the centre

  • The centre aims at initiating, co-ordinating and strengthening national and Nordic research within the fields of risk and insurance.
  • There is a deliberate emphasis on interdisciplinary work among single disciplines which are potentially relevant to insurance.
  • The centre aims at becoming a meeting place between theory and practice, research as well as research-based teaching. 
  • The overall purpose is to develop knowledge about and a critical understanding of risk and insurance, as a basis for international publication, national teaching and leadership development.
