Department of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour has its core competence within management of change, organization management, information management, energy management and project management.

The department covers critical needs for expertise within these areas, in terms of its research and teaching activities.
Research activities are related to topics such as: Understanding the knowledge society, the transition from industrialism to the knowledge society and how this paradigm shift manifests itself in forms of management and organization, the change 'product' may be delivered within a specific time frame, change includes E (E-business, etc) and information technology as major business innovation drivers.
Further, the department provides courses in knowledge management, management of change, information management and technology management on all levels.
