About the speakers:

Professor Warwick McKibbin, AO is a Professor of Public Policy and Director of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University (ANU). His research interests include macroeconomic policy, environmental policy and the global economy. Professor McKibbin is internationally renowned for his contributions to global economic modeling. Professor McKibbin has published more than 200 academic papers as well as being a regular commentator in the popular press. He has authored/edited 5 books including “Climate Change Policy after Kyoto: A Blueprint for a Realistic Approach” with Professor Peter Wilcoxen of Syracuse University.

Professor Ragnar Torvik is a Professor of Economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Deputy Director of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomics and Commodity Prices (CAMP). His research interests includes monetary policy, petroleum economics and growth theory.

Professor Hilde C. Bjørnland is a Professor of Economics, Provost for Research and Academic Resources and Director of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomics and Commodity Prices (CAMP) at BI Norwegian Business School. Her research interests includes monetary policy, natural resources and business cycles.
