14 May 2018

BI Norwegian Business School has been ranked by the Financial Times (FT) amongst the world’s best Executive Education providers for 2018. The ranking lists the best business schools for Customised Programmes and Open Enrolment Programmes.

It’s an important recognition to be part of this exclusive list of the best executive education providers in the world. This demonstrates our ambitions to successfully offer attractive programmes in a tough international competition, says president of BI Norwegian Business School, Inge Jan Henjesand.

The Financial Times Executive Education rankings 2018 consist of two separate rankings: Customised Programmes and Open Enrolment Programmes.

On the ranking of the world's best Customised Programmes, BI achieves 66th place out of 90 ranked business schools. This places BI ahead of top universities such as Imperial College Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Politecnico di Milano School of Management. BI receives good scores on the Customised Programmes criteria: 'overseas programmes' and 'growth'.

In the ranking of Open Enrolment Programmes, BI is ranked as 73rd out of 80 schools that have been included on the list. BI receives good scores on the Open Enrolment Programmes criteria: 'international participants' and 'international location'.

 – The recognition by global rankings, such as Financial Times, enables us to attract top international faculty and connect with international companies. This year´s ranking results are additional proof of the increasing strength of our faculty base, our publication record in top international journals and the relevance of our research for business life, says Dean Executive of BI Norwegian Business School, Ranghild Silkoset.
