”Energiewende” – experiences and consequences

Welcome to a full day seminar on "Energiewende" - German expeience and Nordic Implications

"Energiewende" has caused substantial changes in the European energy markets. The energy companies are less profitable than they used to be and are facing restructuring and subsequent downsizing. What are the experiences with Energiewende in Germany, Europe's industrial power house? How will the new developments in Germany affect the Nordic countries? Will they benefit the European integration of the energy markets, or not? What are the consequences of the new situation for the el-certificate market? What are the implications for further interconnection from the Nordic to Germany, UK and the rest of Europe?

These are some of the questions that will be discussed at the International Energy Forum in Oslo 27th February 2014 at the Norwegian School of Management BI

Organised by:

BI Center for energy and environment, International Energy Forum and Nord Pool Spot.
