Biography
Professor Schwencke has practiced auditing and has also been a technical expert in accounting in one of the larger auditing firms in Norway. He was Head of Office of Accounting Law in the Ministry of Commerce. He was part of the technical staff of the Institute of Auditors in 1982-1985.
He started his academic carear at BI in 1989. He is the author of many accounting articles as well known accounting books. He was and still is a member of many Ministry Committees in Accounting, Auditing and Tax. His doctoral degree of law is based on the dissertation " Accounting for Mergers and Acquisitions in Europe"
