Study at BI

Life as a student

Life as a student can be both exciting and challenging. Therefore we've listed different opportunities and resources which can be useful during your studies.

Study life at BI

It is important that you enjoy your time at BI and use it to build good relationships and networks—regardless of which of our four campuses you study at. BI has campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger, and each campus has its own unique student environment.

There are many ways to get to know other students at BI. Even if you do not make connections during the buddy week, you can meet people in lectures, study groups or seminars. Some students get involved in the BI Student Organisation and make friends through its committees, while others volunteer at BI events.

Many students also join BI Athletics, which provides a social and active meeting place for students across programmes and year groups.

Use your time as a student to learn how to collaborate with others—especially people who are different from you. Social skills and the ability to work with others are qualities valued by potential employers.
