Biography

Bård Kuvaas is a professor of Organizational Psychology at BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo. He is an Associate Editor of Human Resource Management and a member of the review boards of several journals (e.g., Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and Human Resource Management Review). He is a co-founder of the Ambassador Program and has served as a member of the Executive Committee for the HR Division at the Academy of Management (2017-2020).

Kuvaas has received the BI Norwegian Business School Research Award for Outstanding Research (2016), the BI Norwegian Business School Award for Research Dissemination and Societal Impact (2020), and the NEON Honorary Award for Research, Research Communication, and Impact on Practice (2020).

Kuvaas teaches courses at several levels, including Ph.D., executive (EMM and EMBA), and M.Sc. He has been involved in several research collaboration projects with Norwegian organizations and is frequently hired to hold invited talks for practitioners and writes a monthly column in the main business newspaper in Norway (Dagens Næringsliv).
