#NORA Research Seminar: Nordic Trends in Communication Research

In this one-day seminar we will get together to discuss ongoing research projects and jointly work on pathways for further developing caproate communication research across the Nordic region.

The seminar is attended by researchers from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Research projects to be discussed include work on prospects and challenges in the digitalization of communication as well as on crisis resilience during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Arne Flåøyen

Arne Flåøyen is since 2018 the director of NordForsk. NordForsk is the research funding organisation of the Nordic Council of Ministers. NordForsk funds research in all disciplines and work closely with the national research funding organisations in the Nordic Region. 

Winni Johansen

Winni Johansen

Winni Johansen (Ph.D.) is a professor of Corporate Communication in the Department of Management, at Aarhus University, and adjunct professor at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. 

Benedicte Brøgger

Benedicte Brøgger

Benedicte Brøgger holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oslo, Department of Social Anthropology from 2001. Her research experience includes several long-term field works in South-East Asia and a number of R&D-projects in companies and organizations in Norway. 

Kateryna Maltseva

Kateryna Maltseva

Kateryna Maltseva Reiby is Associate Professor of Marketing at Oslo New University College. Kateryna researches how humans interact with digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, wearables and internet platforms. In her research, she focuses on how these technologies shape people's experiences, relationships with other people, as well as people's self-understanding. Kateryna holds a PhD from BI Norwegian Business School.
