What is it like being disabled in the Norwegian workplace today? We bring together HR professionals, advocates, and researchers to ask whether we are succeeding in creating a work life where all can participate.
The event will be lead by Emilie Lapointe, who is Professor at BI Norwegian Business School and specializes in organizational psychology, organizational behavior, and HR.
It is free and open to all. Light breakfast will be served before.
You will hear from the following people:
André Bjørn Røine is Master's student of Leadership and Organizational Psychology and founder of the clothing brand Hands Down, which aims to increase awareness of the value of sign language.
Eric Breit is Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, and among the leading Norwegian researchers on inclusion in the workplace. He heads a major national research project on the topic and has published extensively about it.
Kristine Rønneberg is Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Equinor. One of Norway's largest companies with 24 000 employees across over 20 countries.
Lilly Ann Elvestad is Secretary General of the Norwegian Federation of Organisations of Persons with Disabilities. An umbrella organisation with 90 member organisations of people with disabilities, chronic diseases and their next of kin.
Monique Østbye is Master's student of Leadership and Organizational Psychology and student representative for the programme.
Siri Antonsen is Project Lead Diversity, Accessibility, and Belonging at the Norwegian state broadcaster NRK. She has a bachelor's degree in sign language and has worked with inclusion and accesibility her entire career.
