About Professor Michael Kisser
Michael Kisser is Professor of Accounting at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, where he also serves as Associate Dean for the Master in Accounting and Auditing and the PhD Specialization in Accounting. He received his PhD in Finance from the Vienna Graduate School of Finance in 2010. His research focuses on the intersection of corporate finance and financial reporting, and his work has appeared in leading journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, and the Review of Finance. Before joining BI, he held faculty positions at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
