BI will host a special EQUIS re-accreditation visit on 26–27 January 2026. BI was first accredited by EQUIS in 1999, and this will be the fifth time the school undergoes re-accreditation.
EQUIS is an institutional accreditation, meaning that BI is evaluated as a whole. The visit is carried out by an international Peer Review Team appointed by EFMD and is based on the EQUIS standards and BI’s self-assessment documentation.
The review focuses on how BI works with strategy, quality, and long-term development, including education, faculty and resources, internationalisation, Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability (ERS), engagement with business and society, and institutional support systems.
Together with AACSB and AMBA, EQUIS accreditation is part of BI’s Triple Crown accreditation. Only around 1% of business schools worldwide hold all three accreditations. They provide an independent, international quality benchmark and support BI’s long-term work on continuous improvement across education, research, and engagement activities.
The EQUIS Peer Review Team consists of experiences academic leaders from international business schools:
During the visit, the Peer Review Team will meet with representatives from across the organisation, including leadership, faculty, and professional staff.
