In this session, Vegard Kolbjørnsrud examines human–AI collaboration, the tension between performance and understanding, and how education can cultivate a researcher mindset and AI-resilient skills.
Vegard Kolbjørnsrud, Associate Professor in Strategy at BI Norwegian Business School
Vegard Kolbjørnsrud is Associate Professor of Strategy at BI Norwegian Business School, where he researches and teaches strategy, innovation, organizational design, and the impact of AI on management. He leads the National Top Management Program in Healthcare and is Academic Coordinator for the Executive MBA Digital track.
His research on human–AI collaboration has been published in leading journals such as Research Policy, Global Strategy Journal, and California Management Review, where his article “Designing the Intelligent Organization” received the Best Article Award in 2025. With over 20 years of experience from Accenture in strategy consulting and research, Vegard combines rigorous research with extensive practical insight.
