You will also gain insight into how this work can be documented and contribute to the development of your pedagogical competence.
Description of the module:
This module introduces research-based teaching development, with a particular focus on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Participants will learn how to plan and implement development projects in their own teaching, use data from teaching and student work, and analyze their own practice.
Through working on their own project, participants will gain experience with systematic pedagogical development, as well as peer feedback and academic reflection.
The module will take place on 8 October and 6 November, and participants will be given access to the Canvas course room in week 39.
