Political activity and stands at BI Norwegian Business School

BI Norwegian Business School wishes to facilitate political engagement and exchange of views on our campuses.

As a politically neutral educational institution, BI are committed to ensuring a diversity of voices, while also safeguarding students’ need for a predictable and safe study environment.

If your political party or organisation wishes to host a stand or carry out activities on one of BI’s campuses, this requires an approved permit which must be brought with you.

Guidelines

BI prioritises events and stands where several parties are represented simultaneously, to ensure that students are exposed to a diversity of opinions.
To ensure political breadth, BI will invite other parties to participate when a request is received. Applications must therefore be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the desired date to allow time for this coordination.
Activities must be conducted in such a way that they do not obstruct movement or disrupt teaching, library areas, or employees’ working environment.
BI reserves the right to request that activities be stopped if the guidelines are not complied with, or in the event of unforeseen needs in the study environment.

All activities from party-political student associations are not to be registered here, but are to be coordinated directly through the student organisation BISO, contact@biso.no.
