“Our joint MBA programme with Fudan University leverages the strengths of two leading institutions and uniquely combines global perspectives, business relevance, and cultural exchange to prepare students for success in the international business environment. We continuously strive to deliver top-quality research-based education, and I am very pleased to see that our programmes continue to be considered among the very best worldwide,” says Karen Spens, President at BI Norwegian Business School.

QS Quacquarelli Symonds is a global market leader in student insights and guidance, using data and analytics to deliver some of the most widely read rankings in the world.

The ranking evaluates programmes based on five indicators: career outcomes, diversity, employer reputation, executive profile, and thought leadership (academic reputation).

BI’s joint part-time MBA with Fudan scores particularly well in diversity, which measures gender balance and nationality diversity within the programme.

This year, 27 programmes made it onto the list.

The partnership between BI and School of Management Fudan University is one of the oldest partnerships between a Western business school and a Chinese university.

BI’s EMBA programme excels in QS rankings

BI’s executive MBA programme is ranked number 31 in Europe, out of 72 programmes that made it onto the list. Among the various indicators, BI’s EMBA ranks highest in academic reputation. This indicator assesses the reputation of institutions and their programmes by asking academic experts from around the world to nominate universities demonstrating academic excellence. QS gathers data via their Academic Survey, evaluating nominations for approximately 7,000 institutions each year.

The academic reputation indicator highlights the quality of institution’s research, approach to academic partnerships, and impact on education and society at large.

In the global ranking, BI’s EMBA ranks number 89 out of 205 programmes that made it to the list. Oxford (Saïd) is ranked number 1, HEC Paris number 2, and IESE Business School number 3.
