In Norway, your eligibility for a bachelor’s degree is based on your educational background.
You first need to see if you can apply directly to our 3-year bachelor’s programmes or if you need to take some additional education before applying. Check out the Higher Education Entry Qualifications below.

What is your educational background?
International Education
The Higher Education Entry Qualifications are determined by the Norwegian government. Please consult the GSU list to determine if you can apply directly to one of our bachelor's degree programmes or if you require additional education before meeting the eligibility requirements.
If you have the credentials listed based on the country where you earned your education, you meet the requirement for high school. If it indicates that you need your high school credential and +1 year of university education, you can consider the option below or seek a year of university-level courses in your home country.
Note: Applicants must also meet BI's English proficiency requirements when they apply.
Norwegian Education
Applicants with a Norwegian high school education can apply directly to our English-language bachelor’s degrees if they meet the English proficiency requirements.
