Introduction

Please note that this is a preliminary course description. The final version will be published in June 2026.

Customer Centricity is a strategic issue facing most companies and has lately received attention due to the development in digital (service) ecosystems. Marketing is the field within the broader management literature with in-depth understanding of customers and the development of customer relationships. However, the link to the general management literature is important as customer centricity is about strategic focus from the board and top management, and with this how organizations should be managed.

Course content

The classes will be highly interactive organized around central topics where students discuss relevant literature and interact with guest lecturers from companies.

The topics are equivalent to the issues listed under learning outcomes (knowledge).
