The " Operations Planning and Logistics Analytics " course provides advanced knowledge and practical skills required for analyzing, optimizing, and strategic/tactical planning of operations and logistics processes. This course is focused on decision-making models, predictive analysis, and optimization techniques applicable to real-world business challenges by employing Microsoft Excel (Excel Solver and Data Analysis add-ins) and utilizing AI-driven analytics.

Course content

  • Evaluation of Process Capacity
  • Advanced Forecasting Techniques (systematic, causal, time series, static, dynamic)
  • Introduction to Decision Making and Optimization
  • Comprehensive Production Planning (aggregate, multi-period, MRP, MPS)
  • Advanced Inventory Management (continuous/periodic review, cycle stock, discount schemes, service levels, safety inventory, Newsvendor)
