Our vision is to bridge the gap between academia and practice by generating and disseminating knowledge that advances both scientific understanding and real-world leadership development.
Through close collaboration with both the consultancy industry and organizations investing in their leaders, CLD seeks to ensure that research remains relevant, accessible, and capable of improving leadership practices across contexts in a rapidly changing world.
CLD will also strengthen BI’s own portfolio of leadership education and executive programs—ranging from open enrollment programs (e.g., Executive MBA) to customized corporate offerings. In doing so, the center will directly contribute to BI’s strategic goal of integrating cutting-edge research with impactful education for working professionals.
