Sandra is the director of the Youth and Media project at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, a fellow at Berkman Klein, and since recently a Senior Research and Teaching Associate at the University of Zurich. Her current work is focused on youth. She explores areas concerning information quality, the news ecosystem, spaces for youth participation and more.

Together with other researchers in the field, they seek to understand how we can try to evaluate and understand some of the challenges emerging in the current and the future digital world.

Sandra joins the Nordic Centre within the Research Council of Norway project ‘Algorithmic Accountability: Designing Governance for Responsible Digital Transformations’ and will collaborate with the members of the Centre on topics such as privacy, the future of work, digital skills, lifelong learning, innovation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, AR, VR).
