Biography
I am a PhD candidate at BI Norwegian Business School. I am specialising in applied macroeconomics and econometrics.
My research interests lie in the structural and empirical analysis of macroeconomic dynamics, particularly business cycles (inflation and unemployment rate, GDP), as well as macroeconomic forecasting.
My broader research ambition is to make contributions towards the reconciliation of the macroeconomic theory of business cycles and growth with empirical evidence, by working on projects that combine empirical, analytical and theoretical insights. I am particularly interested in exploring and mastering the state-of-the-art econometric methods and quantitative macroeconomic frameworks to pose and provide answers to questions about the real world. I would also like to explore machine learning techniques applied to empirical analyisis, forecasting as well as to the solution of complex models and their predictions.
