Biography

I am an Associate Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at BI.

My research interests focus on innovation strategy, entrepreneurship, firm growth and the effects of financial constraints for innovative firms. My research papers have been published in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Organization Science, Research Policy and Industrial and Corporate Change.

My teaching mainly focuses on Innovation and technology strategy, with a particular interest in Social and Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have also been teaching courses in Economics of Innovation and Research Methodology at the PhD level, International Business at the MBA and MSc level and Economics of organization and Statistics at the undergraduate level. I have collaborated in the Analytics for Strategic Management Master of Management program together with Espen Andersen and John Chandler Johnson at BI.
Before joining BI I was an Assistant Professor in the Business Department at Carlos III University, Madrid. I received my Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. I received a degree in Statistics from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy.
