Developing optimal network design for Carbon Capture, Transportation and Storage on a regional level

Abstract:
We’ll present a work-in-progress paper on optimization of CCS network design and the developed a multi-objective mixed integer programming model, tested on data based on a case of Norway, considering various capture and transportation scenarios. We’ll address some computational and modelling challenges, discussing future interdisciplinary directions for model development aligned with the tasks of the LogiCCS project.
