The seminar explores different ways of combining case study research designs. It opens with a brief overview of case study research, then examines various archetypal and sequential designs along with their core components. Using examples from management, organization studies, and other social science disciplines, the session is designed to help participants craft case studies that effectively match their research objectives.
About Lakshmi Balachandran Nair
Lakshmi is a Senior Assistant Professor at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. Her research mainly focuses on qualitative methods and business and organizational ethics. She has published in leading journals such as British Journal of Management, Organizational Research Methods, Research Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, and Journal of Management Inquiry, among others. In addition, she has edited and co-authored books, book chapters, and case studies with publishers including Cambridge University Press, Financial Times Press, and Sage Publications. Her work has been recognized with awards and grants from organizations such as the Academy of Management, the British Academy of Management, and the Swiss National Science Foundation.
