Welcome to the 38th NOFOMA Conference
We are excited to announce that the 38th annual NOFOMA conference will be held at BI Norwegian Business School, Campus Bergen in Norway from 16-17 June 2026, with NORDLOG and Educators Day on 15 June 2026.
NOFOMA is the leading Nordic logistics and supply chain management conference that invites and brings together researchers, practitioners, and educators from all over the world to share their insights and experiences. The conference provides a unique meeting place for participants to engage in discussions on the latest research, trends, and challenges in the field of logistics and supply chain management. The theme for this year’s conference is “The Supply Must Go On: Finding new Opportunities in Logistics and Supply Chain Management”.
The NORDLOG doctoral symposium
The NORDLOG doctoral symposium is a full day for PhD students to share experiences and learn from senior researchers and starts in the morning of the 15 June.
The Educators' Day
The Educators' Day is a full day for faculty within logistics and supply chain management will share experiences on how to teach and work with students, discuss recent trends in pedagogy and reflect on ways to develop courses and curricula within our field. The Educators' Day is held 15 June.
The main conference (NOFOMA) will start in the morning, 16 June, and will include keynote speeches, and parallel sessions for discussions of academic papers.
The board of NOFOMA
The board of NOFOMA consists of one representative from each Nordic country and is appointed by the NOFOMA community. An interim member is also the Conference Chair for the upcoming conference.
Any suggestions or inputs about NOFOMA can be sent to one of the board members. New decisions and suggestions will be discussed at the conference business meetings.

The board’s tasks
- Be contact representatives for the NOFOMA community
- Determine strategic directions for the NOFOMA conference
- Ensure that the NOFOMA conferences are run according to agreed statutes
- Decide on where and who will organize the NOFOMA conferences
- Supervise the NOFOMA conferences
- Facilitate contact with sponsors and academic journals supporting the conference
- Maintain the NOFOMA web page
- Hold business meetings at each conference
