Oslo Shipping Symposium 2026

Centre for Ocean Business has the pleasure to host the Oslo Shipping Symposium 2026.

The Shipping symposium is a bi-annual platform, bringing together the key stakeholders in the shipping industry – regulators, legal professionals, industry leaders, and researchers – to exchange insights and ideas of pressing topics affecting the sector.

The theme of this year’s symposium is “Green strategies in a rapidly changing geopolitical world”. Through the sessions we highlight how the geopolitical context shape green policies and strategies, globally, regionally, and locally. From the vantage point of Norway, we ask – where do we stand on green policy investments, and which factors impact its competitiveness?

The symposium consists of three panels:
