Since 2005, the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce has convened public and private decision-makers through the French-Norwegian Day in Oslo.
The 2026 edition comes at a decisive moment for bilateral cooperation. France and Norway are deepening their strategic partnership at a time when Europe must strengthen its industrial base, reduce critical dependencies, accelerate innovation and secure trusted infrastructures for the digital, energy and defence transitions.
The theme selected for 2026 — European Competitiveness and Sovereignty — reflects priorities identified by CCFN’s sectoral committees and Board of Directors: digital sovereignty, trusted technologies, energy and industrial resilience, defence-related value chains, innovation ecosystems, circularity and sustainable industrial transformation.
Hosted at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, the event will provide a high-level bilateral platform to translate the new strategic momentum between France and Norway into concrete cooperation between companies, public authorities, research organisations, clusters, and innovation ecosystems.
