New research collaboration for improved solutions in the transport industry

"As the world's largest logistics operator, we are committed to contributing to better solutions for both the industry and wider society. The research project will be conducted at BI’s Centre for Applied Mathematics and Operations Research (AMOR), utilising a combination of methods within statistics, machine learning, and economics. The project will be led by Fred Espen Benth, Professor of Data Science and Analytics at BI.

“The transport sector is undergoing significant change, driven by growing demands for efficiency, sustainability, and risk management. I am excited to delve into these key challenges within such a major industry. DSV's commitment and contribution will give this research project a significant boost,” says Benth.
