BI uses cookies

We use cookies on our websites to make your experience as good as possible. You can control which cookies we can place in your browser and you can change the settings at any time.

The use of cookies is standard technology. The Electronic Communications Act of 2013, Section 2-7b regulates the use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is added to your browser's internal memory. By setting a cookie, we can store information on how you navigate the website and collect useful statistics that we use to improve our website.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive when you visit a website. The statistics are anonymised, they are not connected to your subscription or to you as a person. A cookie is not a program, nor can it contain viruses. The files are deleted automatically after a certain period of time or when the website is closed, but this can be managed if desired.

We can customize the web pages based on the information stored. For you, this may mean that the website is perceived as more user-friendly and relevant to you.

There are two types of cookies:

  • from first-time providers created by the site you are visiting
  • from third parties of the website you are visiting, such as ads or images taken from other websites

Most browsers are set up to automatically accept cookies. By accessing and retrieving information and / or using services on our websites, you agree that this is placed in your browser. If you do not want to accept our use of cookies, you can withdraw your consent by changing the settings in the browser, see more about how this is done below. You can also click on "Cookies" in the footer and manage your cookie preferences. Please note that changes in settings may result in services on our website not working optimally.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage most of our tools. Google Tag Manager does not collect any information itself, but is used to control which of the tools to use where.

How to delete cookies in your browser

Google Chrome 

  1. Click on the wrench on the toolbar of the browser.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Empty log.
  4. In the dialogue box you checkmark the types of information you want to remove.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the volume of data you want to delete. Select dawn of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Empty log.


Internet Explorer 11.x

  1. Click on the Tools button (the icon looks like a cog wheel). If you don't see the menu, press the Alt key on the keyboard to display the menus.
  2. Select Security from the pull-down menu.
  3. Select Delete Browser log.
  4. Remove the checkmark for Save data for web areas in Favourites.
  5. Checkmark for Temporary Internet files.
  6. Click Delete.

Note: Deleting the buffer log can take several minutes.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Tools menu.
  2. Select Delete log.
  3. Select Alt in the pull-down menu. Delete the time period.
  4. Checkmark for Buffer.
  5. Click on Delete now.


Safari for Mac OS X:

  1. Click on the Safari menu.
  2. Select Empty buffer.
  3. Click on Empty.

Safari 5.x for Windows

  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Select Settings in the pull-down menu.
  3. Click on Data protection.
  4. Click on Remove all web site data in the part on Information capsules and other web site data.
  5. Click on Remove now.
  6. Close the Settings dialogue box.

Opera

  1. In Opera you click on the Tools menu.
  2. Select Delete private data in the pull-down menu.
  3. Click on Details.
  4. Select Empty the entire interim storage and remove the checkmark for any rows you do not want to empty
  5. Click on Delete.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click Settings (... in the upper right corner).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Privacy, Search and Services.
  4. Scroll down to Remove Browsing Data and select what you want to remove.
How to allow or reject cookies

You can decide for yourself whether you want to accept or refuse to consent to the storage of cookies. Please note that this may mean that the services on our website do not work optimally. Follow the steps for your browser.

Google Chrome

  1. Go to Chrome.
  2. Click on the top right and select Settings.
  3. Click Advanced at the very bottom of the menu on the left.
  4. Under Privacy and Security, go to Website Settings.
  5. You will get a new window. Go to Cookies and data from websites to allow or block all websites from storing cookies on your computer. Select See all cookies and website data if you want to specify which web pages the setting applies to.

Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools at the top right and select Internet Options.
  3. Go to the Privacy tab and select Advanced.
  4. You will get a new window with choices about how cookies are handled.

Safari

  1. Go to the Safari app.
  2. Click Safari -> Options in the menu at the top left.
  3. Go to Privacy and you will be able to manage cookies. For more information on what the choices entail, you can click on the question mark icon at the bottom left of the box.

Firefox

  1. Go to Firefox.
  2. Click on the top right and select Settings.
  3. Go to Privacy and Security in the menu on the left.
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and site data. Here you can allow or block the use of cookies.

Opera

  1. Go to Opera.
  2. Click on the top left of Opera and select Settings.
  3. In the menu on the left, click on Advanced and select Privacy & Security.
  4. Under Privacy & Security, then select Content Settings -> Cookies.
  5. Here you can allow or block cookies, if you want specific rules for specific websites you can go to See all cookies and website data.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click ... in the upper right corner of the Edge window.
  3. Select the Settings at the bottom of the list of options.
  4. Select Privacy and Security from the list on the left of the menu bar.
  5. Scroll down until you find Cookies, click on the list option to manage.
