Use of AI in Infohub

How we protect your data when you use the digital assistant.

Infohub is exploring new solutions to offer support to BI’s students around the clock, without waiting times. That’s why we are testing this Chat agent, built on OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology. 

Infohub AI has been trained on BI’s knowledge base and can only respond based on the data it accesses through our CRM system. BI uses Salesforce as its student management system, and your student data and communication with BI are stored on your profile in this system. This enables the Chat agent to provide answers that are more accurate and relevant to your situation. 

When you contact Infohub AI, it’s important to us that your information is handled securely and responsibly. For this reason, we have chosen a solution that incorporates several security mechanisms at every step. 

Here are some of the most important measures: 

  • Protection of personal data: Your sensitive information (such as contact details or ID numbers) is hidden or anonymised before being processed by the assistant. 
  • No unnecessary storage: The details you enter are used solely to answer your query—they are not stored to train the AI model or shared further. 
  • Quality and safety in responses: The system checks both questions and answers to avoid errors, misleading information or inappropriate content. 
  • Correct information to the right person: The assistant only retrieves information relevant to you and your situation, and follows the same access rules as our staff. 
  • Traceability: A log is kept of how data is processed, so we can monitor and document security. 

If you are not comfortable using the AI agent, you can specify this in the chat, and your query will be transferred to an Infohub staff member.
