Mathematics

Introduction

This is a foundational course in mathematics. The course is a compulsory part of the Bachelor in Business. The course is conducted in the fall semester of the first academic year. Topics include elementary algebra, financial mathematics, functions in one and two variables, derivation and integration. Optimization problems in one and two variables, with and without constraints, are central to the course.
