• What was the student environment like during your business studies?

The student environment was particularly good at the master’s level, where we were a small class of around 30 students. We quickly got to know each other and shared many interests, both at university and outside our studies. We still meet quite often today.

• What did you learn at BI that you use in your job?

My education at BI gave me a broad foundation in economics and business, which has been an important starting point for further learning in the workplace. My understanding of accounting and analytical approach has been particularly useful in credit analysis. They help me assess companies’ finances and the industries they operate in.

• What is the most challenging part of your job?

The most difficult part is turning down companies that do not qualify for a bank loan, because their applications often represent big plans and dreams. I therefore always try to explain the reasons for the decision and suggest alternative solutions the company could consider.
