How we safeguard your privacy when using digital assistants to provide you with faster responses.

To offer 24/7 support to students, applicants, and prospects with minimal waiting time, BI is exploring new technological solutions. Therefore, we are developing our own AI assistants based on ChatGPT technology from OpenAI.

The AI assistants are trained on BI's own knowledge base. They only have access to data retrieved directly from our CRM system, Salesforce, which BI uses for student follow-up. Your personal data and your dialogue with BI are securely stored on your existing profile within this system.

It is crucial to us that your information is handled in a secure and responsible manner. We have therefore chosen a solution with built-in security mechanisms at every stage. Here are the most important measures:

  • Protection of personal data: Identifying information (such as contact details or ID numbers) is masked or anonymized before being processed by the assistant.
  • No unnecessary storage: The information you provide is used exclusively to answer your question. It is not used to train the AI model, nor is it shared with third parties.
  • Quality assurance of responses: The system automatically checks both questions and answers to prevent incorrect, misleading, or inappropriate content. 
  • Correct information to the right person: The assistant only retrieves information relevant to your specific inquiry, and it follows the same strict access rules as our employees.
  • Traceability: All data processing is logged, allowing us to continuously monitor, control, and document security.
