Available Study Programmes

BI Norwegian Business School offers 12 master’s degrees and 3 bachelor’s degrees in English.

Admission of Ukrainian Citizens

BI Norwegian Business School welcomes applications from citizens of Ukraine and refugees in Norway. You can apply for admission via our application portal.

Applicants who are currently in Norway and have been granted collective protection will have an overall assessment of their applications.

You need to provide transcripts, proof of English proficiency preferably with a TOEFL or IELTs test, and meet the admission criteria for the individual programme to be admitted.

Bachelor’s Degree

Applicants with education from Ukraine require the following:

From 2019: Svidotstvo pro zdobuttja povnoji zahalnoji serednoji osvity / Свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти + 1 year university education
Or
Until 2018: Atestat pro povnu zahalnu serednju osvitu / Aтестат про повну загальну середню освіту + 1 year university education

Master’s Degree

Applicants must have completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the master’s degree to which you are applying. Please see the programme specific admission requirements.

Application

All applications must be submitted via our online application portal. You upload your transcripts, proof of English requirements, motivation letter, and other documents requested. Also include proof of collective protection status in Norway.

Documentation must be in English or a Nordic language. Only official translations are accepted.

Please note applicants from Ukraine: we do not require English translations of your transcripts and diplomas. We have the language competency in our admissions team to evaluate your documents from your educational institutions in Ukraine.

Economic Support

Student Loans
If you are a refugee from Ukraine or another country with collective protection in Norway and have been admitted to BI, you can apply for grants and loans from Lånekassen. This is the study loan scheme for Norwegian citizens. You will receive the same terms for student loans and grants as Norwegian citizens.

When you complete your education, you will need to repay your student loans whether you live in Norway or another country. Please visit the Lånekassen website for information.

Financial Aid for Ukrainians
In response to the invasion of Ukraine, BI Norwegian Business School established the Financial Aid Award for Ukrainians.

BI ‘s financial aid programme supported 10 Ukrainian applicants who commenced their studies in 2022 with tuition and financial support for living expenses.
