BI's onboarding programme

We want you to feel operative and confident in your new position as soon as possible, as well as to feel at home in our BI family. Through your first months at BI, we offer you an onboarding programme which addresses both the hard facts and the connections you need to get a good start. There are some elements that are common for all employees:

E-learning courses – giving you the basics, primarily with an organisational focus
“Warm Welcome Webinar” - you are welcomed by our president, together with other new employees from the last couple of months. Based on experience, these connections may follow and help you through your entire time at BI.
“Meet, greet and eat” are lunch meetings with other new employees. There are set topics throughout your first year addressing issues we think might be useful to you. The lunch starts with a brief presentation on the topic, followed by interaction and discussions.

Your manager will follow you up closely and will introduce several other onboarding initiatives, depending on what’s considered most suitable for you and the department. You may for instance both get a Buddy, a training plan and regular follow-ups.
