Master of Science

Master 120 ECTS

Business Communication

Study how digital technologies, AI and data shape organisations and society. Learn how communication roles and functions evolve, and how you can help organisations adapt in a complex, constantly changing business landscape.

What will you learn?

Business communication builds relationships and drives results inside and outside the organisation. It must stay aligned with strategy, values and reputation. In this programme, you combine core communication theory with digital platforms, AI, and data management. You also gain practical skills to find, analyse, and share insights.

You will work with recent theory and apply it in class projects using quantitative, qualitative and GenAI‑based methods. You will discuss real cases with guest speakers from companies. The focus on digital communication equips you to create business opportunities, drive media, social and organisational change, and to use intelligent technology responsibly.

You will learn to:

  • Design communication for internal and external stakeholders, aligned with strategy, values, reputation and compliance (including stakeholder engagement and issues/crisis response).
  • Use mixed methods – interviews, text and social data, surveys, analytics and experiments – for insight, measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and run digital platforms and channel operations from planning to publishing, understanding how people and technology interact.
  • Conduct and present applied research and use responsible AI (ethics, privacy, transparency) for trustworthy communication.
  • Navigate sensitive and polarised debates and translate complex findings into clear decisions and actions.
