Tuition fees for the 2026-27 academic year
Tuition fees are listed per academic year and invoiced each semester. Fees depend on your programme, citizenship and whether you qualify for a reduced tuition fee as an internal applicant at BI.
Standard master's programmes
These fees apply to external applicants for all full-time master's programmes, except the three programmes listed below.

To qualify for an internal applicant rate, you must have passed at least 120 credits (ECTS) at BI Norwegian Business School before starting your master's programme.

BI–Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing
This two-year programme includes one year at BI Norwegian Business School and one year at Luiss University. Tuition fees are payable to the respective institutions. The same fees apply to internal and external applicants.

Second year – payable to Luiss University
Estimated tuition fees: EUR 15 000.
Students must also pay a regional tax of approximately EUR 200 during their year at Luiss and a graduation fee of EUR 200 upon graduation.

Some international citizens residing in Norway may qualify for domestic tuition fees.

Estimated living expenses
NOK 170 368 for the 2026–27 academic year.
This is the national estimate for student living expenses in Norway, published by Study in Norway. Living expenses are in addition to tuition fees.
The estimate covers everyday costs such as accommodation, food, electricity, transport and personal expenses. Actual costs will vary. You should also budget for course literature, study materials and additional expenses such as travel, insurance and study permit application fees, where applicable.
Students who require a study permit must document sufficient funds to cover their living expenses and any applicable tuition fees.
For BI–Luiss students, this estimate applies to living expenses in Norway. You should budget separately for your year in Rome.

What do tuition fees cover?
Full-time master's programmes normally last two academic years. Tuition fees are listed per academic year and include lectures and standard examination fees.
Tuition fees do not cover:
- Course literature and study materials
- Re-sit examinations
- Any course excursions or study trips
All full-time students must also pay a separate semester fee to the student welfare organisation at their place of study.
Tuition fees are adjusted annually. BI Norwegian Business School reserves the right to adjust tuition fees.
