Operational Planning and Logistics Analytics

Introduksjon

The “Operational Planning and Logistics Analytics” course equips students in with advanced knowledge and hands-on skills for analyzing, planning, and optimizing operations and logistics processes across supply chains at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Students develop a strong foundation in optimization-based decision making to support cost-efficient resource allocation, improved service performance, and effective capacity utilization. The course also addresses the practical challenges of managing uncertainty and constraints in modern supply chains, with an emphasis on building resilient and sustainable operations. Through decision-making models, predictive analytics, and optimization techniques, students learn how to tackle real-world business problems and translate analytical insights into actionable supply chain plans.
