You will have a first class organisation at hand at one of Europe's leading business schools. As the President you are the institution's CEO, with the overall responsibility for all activities at BI. The President's most important mission is to ensure that BI maintains its position as a preferred business school and continues to be at the forefront of research and educational development.
The President of BI is expected to have interest and engagement in building relationships and attending the public debate and play a key part in the efforts to address the major future challenges and changes within education. We appreciate your outstanding leadership skills and forward-looking mindset. We expect you to have a global perspective and international experience, and it would be an advantage that you are well connected with business. We are looking for a unifying and cooperative leader with ability to build trust. We assume that the right candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the position as President.
The President must have higher academic education, preferably PhD. You must have excellent oral and written presentation skills in English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
The appointment is for a period of four years with possible extension for one additional period.
